Jasmine is both relaxing and warming - both emotionally and physically and is sometimes used as an oil for post natal recovery owing to its antidepressant qualities.Neroli, which is obtained from the flowers of the Bitter Orange or Seville Orange, is valuable for anxiety and shock and has antidepressant, antiseptic antispasmodic and aphrodisiac qualities.
Sandalwood was added for its slightly astringent and highly perfumed scent, which Ylang Ylang complements with it's sedative and calming properties.
