First found this through pregnancy massage/ Massage your Baby (Rachel has left a review above) and got some for my baby when he was tiny. He's now 16 months and I've been using it ever since as part of his bedtime routine. It's great for his sensitive skin (alot of creams bring him out in a rash) and makes his skin lovely and soft. I can't recommend it enough.

Amazing, Wonderful Brilliant
Review byJudith Kirk
I have been using Bee Balm for nearly a year on my scar, after total hysterectomy. I want to shout from the rooftops just how good this balm is for scars. You can hardly see my scar thanks to Bee Balm and, of course, an excellent surgeon. I highly recommend Songbird Bee Balm for scars. The results are just amazing.

Bee Balm for babies
Review byclaudie henault
I have used this for my grandson since his birth, he is now 15 months old. Never a nappy rash. I used it also on some dry patches on his skin, it is a wonderful product to use, pure, no unatural scent like other baby products and not messy at all...I usually finish the nappy change by rubbing the rest of the wax over my hands which is lovely too...again 5* absolutely.

I have no hesitation in recommending this product.
Review byN. Collins
I have no hesitation in recommending this product. We use it on my 16 month old when she has nappy rash and it works fantastically well. I think it is the best product on the market for nappy rash - far better than the well known brands you buy in the supermarket/chemist. I was concerned initially that it seemed like a lot of money for a small tub of product, but you only need to use a little, which goes a long way, and therefore it is actually great value for money. Try some - you won't be disappointed.

Review byJ. Wright
My skin is incredibly dry, especially on my face at this time of the year, and I find no amount of creams or lotions I have made myself or bought, actually work. So I thought I would try this, what can I say it is just amazing. I have had to order myself a bigger pot I love it so much, non greasy it soaks in just fine. I also use the foot balme for reflexology and would definitely recommend all waxes and balmes. Thank you for such amazing products.

My two toddlers and I love this cream
Review byC. Lawrence
My two toddlers and I love this cream. We all suffer from eczema in various places and to various degrees and we find that this cream really helps to soothe, calm and heal. My daughter (who is 3) particularly loves her Tui cream, she has mild eczema around her mouth which often gets irritated when she eats so she asks for it to be put on before she eats. Because its so natural I have no hesitation in applying it as often as she likes, I bought a 300g pot for home and a 100g pot for out and about. Thanks so much for supplying such a lovely product,

Discovering Bee Balme was such a relief
Review byE. Summers
My daughter developed eczema on her face, we tried many creams but they all seemed to irritate her sensitive skin. Discovering Bee Balme was such a relief not only does it soothe her dry skin without any stinging or irritation, it also helped to clear up much of the eczema incredibly rapidly. My daughter carries a pot of Bee Balm in her pocket where ever she goes now. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product!

I use this for my baby massage classes
Review byV. Blake
I use this for my baby massage classes, I always give a sample to use at home and during classes. By the end of the 5 week course. I have mothers asking me where they can buy it from. They love it for the babies and themselves. I choose this over massage oil as working with babies it can be unpredictable so if you need to get up suddenly and accidently knock it over, the wax is not going anywhere unlike traditional massage oil.

I heartily recommend this product
Review byS. Anderson
I heartily recommend this product. I find it excellent for nappy rash for my small baby, teething chin rash and general grazes. Overnight the redness seems to disappear. I have just lost my tub, while on holidays, and will be ordering a replacement immediately. A beautiful gentle product. As you only have to use a small bit, it lasts a long time and hence it's great value for money.

Excellent product - I use it every day on my baby and she has never had nappy rash (we use cloth nappies). It leaves no residue on her skin as some of the other nappy creams do.

I LOVE this stuff
Review byP. Williams
I LOVE this stuff. I use it on my 9 month old daughter who has bad eczema, and it has improved her skin condition greatly, possibly along with other measures such as avoiding certain food allergens. It keeps her silky smooth for many hours, isn\'t greasy and gloopy, glides on well and she enjoys a massage in the process. Often after using creams or lotions I feel the need to wash my hands, but I always want to leave this stuff soak into my own hands; does them the world of good. It has a pleasant smell and most importantly my daughter loves playing with the pot, using it as a drum! When she sees it she knows what\'s coming and gets very excited. After trying a small 50g pot I\'m now going to order a 500g pot. Definitely worth the money, and as it\'s all natural you know you\'re not rubbing any \'muck\' into delicate, sensitive, young skin.

Brilliant
Review byJ. Fox
Brilliant, my two year old loves it and keeps finding excuses for me to put more on her! Great for bums, grazes and sore skin. Fab!
A look at vitamin E in cosmetics and its benefits for the skin.
Have you ever seen ‘tocopherol’ on the ingredients list of your cosmetic products? If you have a rummage through your bathroom cabinet and read the ingredient labels on your toiletries and cosmetics, you’ll probably find it’s a popular ingredient. But what is tocopherol?
Earlier this month, our sister company Tui Balms in New Zealand celebrated their 40th anniversary. Many of you may already be aware that Songbird Naturals actually grew out of Tui Balms at the Tui Community in Golden Bay, New Zealand.
Beeswax is a remarkable, all-natural wax substance that has been utilised for thousands of years. It also happens to be one of the ingredients we use most of all here at Songbird Naturals, and we have a genuine love and appreciation for this humble ingredient from mother nature.
Our Bee Balm is our original healing and soothing Balm. It has been used for scratches, burns, sunburn, cracked skin, grazes, rashes and scar tissue. It is gentle on skin prone to eczema and psoriasis.
Our naturally rich Bee Balm is excellent for everyday use as a skin conditioner and barrier cream, especially for working hands. It is highly popular with mothers concerned with nappy rash and cradle cap, as well as pre- and postnatal stretch marks.
Great for Baby's bum!Â
Propolis is increasingly referred to as 'nature's antibiotic'; a marvellous natural substance utilised by bees to prevent bacterial infection in the hive. Vitamin E accelerates the healing of burns and damaged skin.
With its ability to soften and nourish the skin, Bee Balm is appropriate for use in the secondary healing of scar tissue.
On application, the idea of 'use less more often' is one to remember. Massage in to dry areas properly and work in all the excess, rather than having too much. The efficacy is at the point of contact.
Bee Balm contains no essential oils, making it the medium of choice for professionals who have clients with nut allergies. It is also used by professionals who are massaging pregnant clients, or are pregnant themselves.
Please note: You may notice that the ingredients list for our Bee Balm contains alcohol. This comes from the Propolis tincture we use. The total alcohol content in the balm is very small (0.19%), and the majority of alcohol evaporates off during the manufacturing process. This makes the alcohol content negligible, but we are still required by law to list it on the label’s ingredients list. Please rest assured our Bee Balm is still safe for use on young children.
